Women's Softball National Team

The Austrian Softball Women's National Team has been part of the European softball elite for over a decade. Currently, the team is working on a generational change to integrate more and more juniors from the Junior National Team program into the Seniors Team. The US-American Gabriella Gonzalez leads the coaching staff as Head Coach. The next European Championship of Team Austria will take place this year in Barcelona (ESP). A place among the top 10 is the goal for the Red Machine. By the way, the young ladies of the U22 national team will go to Kunovice (CZE) for the European Championship in 2022.

Softball Junior National Teams

U22 Softball National Team

Das österreichische U22 Softball Nationalteam ist erstmals im Jahr 2018 bei der U22 Europameisterschaft in Trnava (SVK) angetreten und hat unter Headcoach Martina Lackner-Keil den 14. Platz belegt. Seitdem ist das U22 Nationalteam integraler Bestandteil des Softball Nationalteam Programms.  Geleitet wird das Team aktuell von Bundestrainerin Gabriella Gonzalez und wird 2022 bei der U22 Europameisterschaft in Kunovice (CZE) erneut in einem internationalen Bewerb antreten.

U18 Softball National Team

The Austrian U18 national softball team made its international appearance for the first time in 2006 at the U19 European Championships in Collecchio (ITA) and finished 10th there (until 2018 this category was listed as U19, and since then it has been listed as U18). After the European Championships in Deggendorf (GER) in 2008, the European Championships were even held in their own country in 2010, with the Spenadlwiese and Freudenau hosting 15 nations. Two years later, the team competed again internationally in Rosmalen (NED). After that, no more teams were sent to a European Championship when a newly formed team under head coach Martina Lackner-Keil started in Prague (CZ) in 2021 and finished 11th there.
